September 29, 2007: Logs Delivered

Our logs came from the upper peninsula of Michigan. We had 112 Pine logs delivered of which 103 went into the house. They came in two loads a day apart. Each truck had a self loading trailer with a big mechanical claw for unloaded, the whole process took less than 30 minutes to unload.

It looks like they came pre-peeled! Can I ask who you got your logs from and their cost? I am in Iowa and probably a similiar transport cost to here as to Indiana...thanks!

Yep they did come peeled!
If you leave your e-mail I'll send you some info.

Same question as Todd. We're on the hunt for some logs as well, could you let us know where you found yours? Your house looks great! It's been exciting to read through your blog and watch it go together. jeremy.dehut@gmail.com
