October 2007: Day Three

I took the entire month of October off to set logs.
Worked out well, the majority of the time was blue skies & good weather, only 2 rain days.

Here I am chainsawing off the end of a butt log to fit.

The logs are pinned every 2'. We used a demo hammer for the first few rows but once we were in the air we just used a mini sledge.

Here is a rock throwing machine to put about 4" of stone into our crawlspace. Pretty cool, it shot the stone 35'.
