man, what a pretty house. I have been following your progress, and it is impressive how well you guys built it. I will take LHBA class in about two years from now, but for now I just look at all the pictures and loving it.

I found the LHBA this week while checking out log homes and stumbled on your blog while reading in the forums. Great seeing your progress and also loving it. I need to start saving up for that class.

Thank you both for your comments :)

The class was really great, we wouldn't be doing this without it, probably be stuck with a 30 yr mortgage instead.

Hi J&J, I too have followed your progress for a long time.

I never registered at the loghome.org site, although that's where I first saw your pictures (and plenty of others).

I hope I can do this myself, some day.

Thank you for sharing, and congratulations!

Ran into this blog reading the forums at LHBA - I've never been glued to a blog before until yours.

The house looks wonderful so far and is VERY inspiring.

MORE UPDATES! :D

Ivan, the house is 30'x30', full 2 stories + 1/2 loft in gable.
Wall logs were about 12" at the base.

Derek,
Thanks for the comments, the LHBA is a great forum :)
